The weather as almost 80 degrees today. We took advantage of the sunshine to begin planting the garden. Hannah and Shelly joined us, as well as some other friends from the neighborhood. Here's the beginning planting... baby basil seedlings.
Rob built a large raised bed where we planted everything from cantaloupe to zucchini. Special thanks to my friend Maureen for many of our seedlings... and dirt!
It may take awhile to teach the kiddos not to pull the plants from the ground and to teach Belle to stay out of the garden!
Let's hope we don't forget to turn on the irrigation!
