Last night Maggie was crying and wouldn't easily calm down, so I put her in a tight swaddle. Immediately she stopped crying and closed her eyes to take a little snooze. Lilly and Claire watched this entire event unfold and were quite taken with how the swaddle calmed Maggie down. I told them they used to be the same way- addicted to the swaddle. Rob would wrap them tight like a burrito where they would sleep for hours. And so, inquisitive Lilly asked Rob to swaddle her again... in a slightly larger blanket, of course; keep in mind Lilly hasn't been swaddled since she was a baby.
This was just too funny for words.
Here are a few cute photos of Miss Maggie. She is becoming more and more alert each day and is beginning to make more eye contact.
Yet, still, she loves to sleep. Here's our sleeping beauty.
Still, the #1 comment Maggie receives when people see her for the first time is, "Look at all that hair!" As you may be able to tell from the photo, her hair is becoming lighter. In fact, is seems we wash the color away each time she gets a bath. Sleep tight little princess!
