This morning we visited a park in Gilbert we had not visited before. We've enjoyed unseasonably cool weather this May- temps in the 80's today- simply gorgeous weather for Phoenix this time of year!
The girls were super excited to ride the kiddie rides. First off - the wave runner. Both girls liked this one... round and round they went "chasing" each other in their jet skis. Claire yelled, "Catch me, Lilly!"
Next up... their first solo ride on a ferris wheel... a mini one at that.

Next stop, the carousel. Oh the carousel, our favorite. This one was ancient!
No belts on this one. Hold on!
This was Claire's best attempt at a smile.
They even road some little quarter rides- reminiscent of ones out in front of ancient K-marts.
Rob asked Lilly to look at the camera and she said, "I can't, I'm driving."
Let's not forget the train... the main reason we went to the park in the first place.

Big surprise- through all of this, Maggie slept.
Family time outside... a great way to spend the holiday weekend.
