Claire started the long weekend by picking a few veggies from the garden- cucumber and summer squash. We've become fond of grilling squash outside. The cucumber will be delicious in our nightly garden salad. Claire has a hankering for picking things from the garden. At the slightest color change, tomatoes are plucked from the plant and eagerly brought inside. So, we have many just-barely-red tomatoes ripening inside at the moment.
We also swam a bit this weekend.
Our swim lessons begin tomorrow- should be interesting. Lilly is excited yet concerned she will be expected to jump off the diving board. Claire doesn't have a clue what's coming!
